Our monthly Center Social happening @ Hunters Palm Springs tonight from 5:30 PM to 7 PM! Let's celebrate Pride, community and friendship! Spread the word - this Happy Hour is for everyone! Knitting class is back today!
The class is designed to teach beginners the basics of knitting, but is also useful to those knitters in need of a refresher course.

"Teaching an Old Dog New Tricks" - July 9
A monthly discussion series for gay, bisexual, and queer men in the Coachella Valley focusing on topics to improve your quality of life. Change it Up! facilitated by Brent Heinze.
 
When: Second Tuesday of each month - 6:00 to 8:00 pm

July 9: Teaching an Old Dog New Tricks – Breaking Out of Patterns
 
American Sign Language starting July 13!
This 8-week course is for those who want to learn another language and communicate with members of the Deaf Community. During these classes, students will actively engage with exciting activities so that learning another language becomes fun again. No experience necessary, as this course is for beginners!
 
When: Saturdays, starting Jul 13 (8 Weeks)
  • ASL-I: 9:30 to 11:00 am
  • ASL-II: 11:30 am to 1:00 pm

New weekly drop-in Knitting Social on Mondays
Instructor Douglas Morris continues to share his passion for knitting with this on-going “come knit together” social gathering. Whether you are a novice or a lifetime knitting expert, come and share your interest and love for knitting and make some new friends too!

Windsor Court Assisted Living have been in business for 34 years and is known for the care provided to their residents. Independent Living enables residents to live on their own, but know there is someone nearby if needed. The staff is available to assist the residents in activities of daily living, medication management, meal service, coordination of health services, and the residents receive 24 hour care.

Artist David Fairrington's THE RED KIMONO II PROJECT
Exhibition + Fundraiser for the LGBTQ+ Charities of the Great Coachella Valley
Join us for a open house celebration of the Palm Springs LGBTQ+ Community featuring the portraiture artwork of local artist David Fairrington.
 
Each artwork is represented by a local LGBTQ+ charity and attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite portraiture/ charity. Each "vote" equals one dollar. The winning painting will hang at the Palm Springs Cultural Center for one year. In addition, David Fairrington will paint a portrait of the person who donates the most money to his or her favorite charity (minimum $1,000 donation). The artist will be on site during the opening.

Memberships @ The Center start at $25.00 a year!
 
Your membership fees make a wonderful difference for many women's lives in our LGBT community. Your contributions allow us to distribute groceries to over 250 households each week through our Community Food Bank @ The Center. Membership assists in providing no cost/low cost counseling services to over 50 LGBT clients each week and keeps our classes like 50+Fit, yoga, drawing, Spanish and others at a low cost. In addition, your fees and donations support our youth suicide-prevention and anti-bullying program in the Palm Springs Unified School District. And remember, your membership entitles you to receive discounts on all classes and workshops at The Center.
