Open call auditions Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus
 
A special evening of camaraderie will be an opportunity to audition, volunteer and/or get involved with one of the chorus' many committees.
 
PSGMC continues to “Build a Chorus Like No Other,” with a commitment to a high standard of excellence in their performances. In the audition process, PSGMC will be recruiting singers for the main chorus, but also for their small ensemble group “The Arrangement".

The Palm Springs Pride Run and Walk 5K is part of a weekend of activities celebrating Greater Palm Springs Pride! The race goes through the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Old Las Palmas in Palm Springs
 
This event is proudly organized by Palm Springs Front Runners and Walkers, a local chapter of International Front Runners, an informal network of LGBT running groups around the world. Proceeds from the Palm Springs Pride Run and Walk will benefit The LGBT Community Center of The Desert ("The Center") and Safe Schools Desert Cities.

Our friends from Boots in Squares are back with their season's classes where everyone is welcome: LGBTQ, straight, singles, couples. No experience needed. No partner needed - They supply experienced dancers. These classes takes place in a friendly environment that is perfect for socialization, making friends and of course, dancing!.

ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk | Coachella Valley - Sep 14
 
The ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk series is the premier program of ZERO - The End of Prostate Cancer, the leading national nonprofit organization with the mission to end prostate cancer.
 
The 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk - Coachella Valley features a 5K run/walk, Kids' Superhero Dash for Dad, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family-friendly post-race celebration. Run/walk participants will receive shirts, free food and prizes, and the opportunity to connect with others who are impacted by prostate cancer.

4th Annual HIV & Aging Conference | Sep 18 
Now in its fourth year, this conference offers an open discussion on improving the lives of older HIV patients. It’s been found that HIV patients age faster with certain potentially deadly conditions like heart disease appearing earlier. Come learn more specifics about these important topics!

Memberships @ The Center start at $25.00 a year!
 
Your membership fees make a wonderful difference for many women's lives in our LGBT community. Your contributions allow us to distribute groceries to over 250 households each week through our Community Food Bank @ The Center. Membership assists in providing no cost/low cost counseling services to over 50 LGBT clients each week and keeps our classes like 50+Fit, yoga, drawing, Spanish and others at a low cost. In addition, your fees and donations support our work with East Coachella Valley youth in Coachella, Mecca, and Thermal, and the youth suicide-prevention and anti-bullying program in the Palm Springs Unified School District
