Alpha Betta (Al) - Programming Department Fish

Al's story is the American story. Al's ancestors lived in the rice paddies of Vietnam and Thailand but the call of America, Disneyland and frozen yogurt was strong. He arrived on the Center's door stop in February 2017 and with his bubbly personality, quickly made friends with the center staff and members. Al is a rare fish in that he has the ability to get oxygen from water and air, a true two spirited breathing piscean. A solitary independant fish, he is not fond of any fish of any gender, perferring to meditate on life's mysteries alone in his watery kingdom. He enjoys visits (particularly Candice who has spiky hair like him) and comes over to rub his nose on the bowl where you touch your finger. Al also enjoy's watching the coral reef youtube screen saver and is overjoyed when sharks retreat at the sight of his awesome finness. He loves to make bubble nests and hopes to one day embrace fatherhood.
