Center Stage is turning 10, and to celebrate, we’re turning back the clock to throw a big 80s party! Presented by Eisenhower Medical Center, join us at Center Stage for a freakin’ righteous time.

This "Multi-generational Chat Room" meets in a open discussion group on provocative and timely topics designed to bridge the generational divide and break through stereotypes of what it means to be older or younger.

“Change It Up” is back in November with an interactive discussion group for queer men on a variety of topics focusing on topics to improve your quality of life. A combination of psycho-educational presentations paired with a process group. This will also be a positive opportunity for social engagement and community building for participants.

Palm Springs Pride Parade: Are you walking with us?
 
The Center theme this year in the Palm Spring’s Pride Parade is “ Millions of Moments of Love” and we would LOVE as many of you as possible to join us to walk with our huge balloon. We need wheel walkers and folks to hand out fans to the crowd as well as just walk Sunday Nov 3rd. We need you at the staging area by 9:30 am. More details to come.

The Palm Springs Pride Run and Walk 5K is part of a weekend of activities celebrating Greater Palm Springs Pride! The race goes through the beautiful and historic neighborhood of Old Las Palmas in Palm Springs
 
This event is proudly organized by Palm Springs Front Runners and Walkers, a local chapter of International Front Runners, an informal network of LGBT running groups around the world. LA&M (Leather Archives & Museum)
The Center and DFA welcome Gary Wasdin, executive director of the Leather Archives and Museum in Chicago, Illinois. Gary will offer his reflections on what for him, a leatherman, is the best job in the world: uncovering the artifacts and shedding light on the lives of the diverse people who together created what we refer to as Leather, and bringing that rich history to life for us today. 
 
LeatherSex Conversations is a program of Desert Fetish Authority (desertfetishauthority.com) and the LGBT Community Center of the Desert that brings thought-provoking speakers from across the country here to Palm Springs for intimate evenings of questions, answers, and more questions, on topics of interest to people who are a part of the Leather tradition or who are seeking to know more about this enduring aspect of the LGBT experience. Come get your mind blown.

Flagging in the Desert featuring DJ Michael Duretto - Nov 2
 
"Flagging in the Desert, an official event of Palm Springs Pride, is an outdoor celebration of flag dancing and the music that inspires it. Whether you come to flag, use poi, fans, hula hoops or just bring a picnic to enjoy color, laughter and uplifting music as it fills the park, everyone is welcome - kids and dogs too! There will be loaner flags available for those who want to learn.

“Living Your Best Black Gay Life" - November 9th @ The Center
A one-day wellness summit focusing on Black gay men in the Coachella Valley and beyond.
 
The event features innovative workshops, interactive discussions and entertaining presentations on a diverse range of topics, such as relationships and intimacy, spirituality, the impact of racism, sexual pleasure, creative expression, financial planning, building community, health care and more. It is designed to connect Black gay men and promote a better quality of life across the social-cultural-economic spectrum. The event is sponsored by Brothers of the Desert (BOD), a Black gay men’s empowerment group dedicated to philanthropy, volunteerism, mentorship, education, advocacy and social networking. 
 
While the summit is designed for Black gay men, allies of the Black gay community are welcome to attend.
 
When: Saturday, November 9th
Breakfast & Registration: 8:00 to 10:00 am
Workshops: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (lunch provided)
Social Event: 5:00 to 7:00 pm

Your membership fees make a wonderful difference for many women's lives in our LGBT community. Your contributions allow us to distribute groceries to over 250 households each week through our Community Food Bank @ The Center. Membership assists in providing no cost/low cost counseling services to over 50 LGBT clients each week and keeps our classes like 50+Fit, yoga, drawing, Spanish and others at a low cost. In addition, your fees and donations support our work with East Coachella Valley youth in Coachella, Mecca, and Thermal, and the youth suicide-prevention and anti-bullying program in the Palm Springs Unified School District
