Guillermo Biro, Senior Programs Manager
Guillermo (also known as Gil) is a recent transplant in the desert. He originally hails from Venezuela, moving to Puerto Rico to pursue a degree in Mechanical Engineering and most recently New York, which was his home for 15 years. Settling into Palm Springs, Gil wanted to plant roots and reached out in his community to find a place where he could volunteer and perhaps put his bi-lingual skills to good use. Gil comes to the Center with an open heart and mind as Program Coordinator hoping to share the skills he honed while working in corporate America at Coca-Cola, but this time working with others for the greater good of the LGBTQ community. His warm good-natured personality enables him to connect with people both professionally and personally. Gil shares his home in Palm Springs with his husband, his son and 3, yes 3! four legged children! He is grateful to be at the Center, it is helping him to call Palm Springs home. Motto: Be a giver not a gobbler | Be humble, be honest, be happy | Come to every table with an open mind and heart.
